This RBT Training is designed for those seeking Registered Behavior Technician certification across the entire United States. Some states with high numbers of Registered Behavior Technicians are Florida, Indiana, Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Texas – although they are in high demand in every state. Please refer to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board website for full information on the RBT training application.

- How can I get Dual Credit for RBT courses?

Many of our RBT Training courses are also approved for continuing education for other specialties, certifications and licenses! Courses with Dual Credit show the number of PDUs (Professional Development Units) included in gold. Upon successful completion of each Dual Credit course, you will be awarded with a certificate for your PDUs. Gone are the days where you have to take separate courses for every one of your licenses and certifications! All individual courses within the RBT training curriculum are available for current RBTs to take for ongoing PDUs.
(Essential CEU Institute is a DSS-approved provider of continuing education in California. For rules governing continuing education credit, participants should contact their respective regulatory boards.)

- What is an RBT?

RBT is an acronym for Registered Behavior Technician. An RBT is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA, BCaBA or FL-CBA. The RBT’s primary responsibility is the direct implementation of behavior-analytic treatment plans developed by the supervisor. - How does RBT Training work?

Essential CEU Institute’s self-paced, mobile-friendly platform will guide you through 40 hours of RBT Training, tracking your progress along the way! The purpose of the training is to prepare you for the Registered Behavior Technician Competency Assessment Exam.
Once your 40-hour training is complete, you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion to document your successful fulfillment of the 40-hour RBT Training requirement. This certificate will be valid for redemption as part of the BACB’s Registered Behavior Technician application process.
This training must be completed within a 180-day period and in no less than a 5-day period.
